Salewa Ortles 3L Powertex Pants

In the Dolomites, you can experience some of the most impressive high alpine routes in the world. The Ortles 3L Powertex pants, developed in collaboration with mountain guides, are a waterproof, breathable solution for challenging conditions and exposed situations.

The Ortles 3-layer pants are made from our patented 3-layer Powertex weather protection fabric, offering a balanced combination of performance, weight, and durability. They are extremely waterproof, with a water column of 20,000 mm. Under high loads, the breathable membrane (20,000 g/m2/24h) transports water vapor away, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience. The athletic fit includes a gusset in the crotch for full freedom of movement and ergonomically shaped knee areas. The snug lower leg and silicone grippers ensure a good fit over mountaineering or ski boots, keeping the cuffs securely in place and minimizing the risk of getting caught in the crampons.

These pants are a Salewa Committed product with an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating and are manufactured according to additional, strict, and independently verified environmental and social standards.
