Developed with mountain guides, the Ortles 3L Powertex trousers are a waterproof, breathable solution for challenging conditions and exposed situations. The Ortles 3-layer trousers are made from patented 3-layer Powertex weather protection fabric and offer a balanced combination of performance, weight and durability. They are waterproof, with a water column of 20,000 mm. Under high loads, the breathable membrane (20,000 g/m2/24h) ensures that water vapour is wicked away, making it comfortable to wear. The sporty fit includes a gusseted crotch for full freedom of movement and ergonomically pre-shaped knee sections. The close-fitting lower leg and silicone grippers ensure a good fit over mountain boots or ski boots and keep the cuffs securely where they belong, minimising the risk of tangling your crampons in the trousers.
