The Litetrek II is a 2-person double-wall tent designed for alpine trekking, prioritizing weather protection, stability, weight, and pack size. It is suitable for three-season use in milder temperatures and can withstand wind speeds of up to 90 km/h, according to wind tunnel tests conducted by the Technical University of Munich. The robust and reliable semi-geodesic double-wall construction offers the optimal balance between weather protection and ventilation without compromising space. Thanks to its 100% freestanding design, the tent can be easily set up on rocky terrain without the need for guy lines. For added flexibility, the anchor points can also be extended. The tear-resistant 50D ripstop nylon rainfly is silicone and PU-coated, achieving a water column of 3,000 mm. The floor is made of durable PU-coated 70D ripstop nylon with a water column of 5,000 mm. The inner tent, made of 66D ripstop polyester, features a mesh entrance with an integrated mosquito net. For better ventilation, the rear panel can be opened from both the inside and outside with zippers to regulate fresh air intake and prevent moisture buildup inside. The 3S Speed Set Up solution, with short, flat pole channels and hooks, allows for quick and easy assembly. In good weather and warm temperatures, the rainfly can also be set up on its own.
