The Alp Trainer 2 is a progressive hiking shoe with a mid-cut shaft, made from robust, high-quality suede and stretch upper materials, along with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that reliably protects you on various terrains and in changing conditions. A generous rubber rand provides additional protection against rock edges and debris.

Adaptable and Comfortable
The shoe offers a precise fit, securely enveloping your foot, providing support, and is comfortable right from the first wear. The proprietary, patented 3F System includes a steel cable that ensures a firm hold at the ankle and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar allows more freedom of movement for the ankle backward, enhancing comfort during descents. Additionally, with the adjustable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), you can choose between different insoles to customize the shoe volume to your needs. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows for individual tightening down to the toes for better performance on technical terrain.

Enhanced Grip and Traction
The optimized Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, exclusively offered by SALEWA®, improves performance and control on various mountain terrains. With its specialized climbing, grip, and braking zones, as well as an aggressive lug design, it excels even in wet and muddy conditions.
