Riptide 84A Krank Short Street Cone & Street Cone Bushings (4Pack)

The Krank Short Street Cone & Street Barrel 4-Pack Skateboard Bushings are sold in 2 pairs with a sticker and include 2 small cup washers as well as 2 large cup washers. They are specifically sized for use in traditional "Indy-style" trucks.

Bushing height: 0.4" & 0.5" - Bushing diameter: 0.98". The Krank formula offers a lot of adaptability. You can tighten the kingpin nut by up to two full turns to harden or loosen the feel of the durometer. Note that the sharp larger diameter edge of the cones and the rounded edge of the barrels should face towards the hanger of the skateboard trucks and fit snugly into the bushing seat.

Don't hesitate to combine a softer durometer bushing in the road-side position (top) with a harder durometer in the board-side position (bottom). This can provide extra stability while still allowing for carving. Stiffer bushings make the board more resilient, which can be beneficial when performing tricks. Lighter riders may benefit from mixing durometers.

Very hard bushings (96a) are typically for heavier riders or those seeking a very tight setup. Hard bushings (93a) are for average-weight riders and allow for a tight setup with very little wobble. Medium bushings (90a) are for medium-weight riders and for those who prefer a slightly looser setup than the hard ones. Soft bushings (87a) are for lighter riders and those looking for a loose setup. Very soft bushings (84a) are intended for very light or young riders but are also suitable for those who prefer a super loose setup (slalom).
