Rayne Darkside 2022

The Darkside is a directional, top mount freeride longboard featuring a radial drop, three-stage rocker, and kick-tails. This version incorporates our Fatbottom technology for enhanced wheel clearance and weight reduction. The Darkside has a relatively short wheelbase for responsive riding, allowing for grip when needed while still enabling drifting on command. This hybrid longboard combines a love for radial drops with downhill leverage, control, and lock-in, complemented by a kick tail to navigate around obstacles effortlessly. Now you can ollie, manual, blunt, and firecracker your way around the city on your way to your local freeride spot!

Missionary Construction includes the classic Rayne sandwich construction you know and love. The vert-lam bamboo core is stronger than steel yet light as a feather. Pre-tensioned biax fiberglass adds longevity, durability, strength, and energy return. The sublimated artwork features scratch-resistant ink tattooed into the deck. Sharp edges provide a final touch for locked-in feet, while a speed-stiff design ensures stability at high speeds. The directional shape enhances edge feel for carving, cruising, and speed.

3D wheel wells combat wheelbite and keep your feet in place. The three-stage rocker pre-loads your legs for easier tucking and turning, while the radial drop platform cradles your feet for ideal freeriding. The mean cave concave is designed to be steeper in the middle, offering both pockets and gas pedals. Universal variable top mounting allows you to choose the wheelbase that suits you best. The bee orange finish smells good, tastes great, and seals and protects your board without harmful chemicals.
