Complete with Atlas Ultralight 50* 180mm trucks, Vicious griptape, Rayne Stoopid Fast bearings + precision spacer kit, and Rayne 70mm 77a Envy stoneground longboard wheels. The surf shape has been translated into a skateboard form since the day roller skates were attached to a wooden block with ceramic wheels. When we decided to develop a new cruiser/freeride board, it was important for us to maintain the roots of the surf shape while making it more fun and functional than ever before. This time, we equipped the traditional freeride platform with a gentle radial concave and a rocker to create a soft and comfortable platform that still possesses the characteristics sought after in freeriding and sliding through streets.

Anthem Concave: As you move your foot back on the concave rocker platform, you'll find the chisel-shaped kick tail. Developed with the support of our local team riders, we concluded that this, combined with the K.I.S.S. construction, makes it the poppiest single-kick board longer than 35 inches of Anthem tail.

K.I.S.S. Construction: All skateboard constructions require a cross-grain material to provide torsional stiffness and structural integrity. Traditionally, we use fiberglass to achieve this stiffness, as it can offer grain patterns in several different directions and has a tensile strength that is hard to surpass. This time, we wanted to offer something softer and more affordable, so we wrapped our Fatbottom core with maple wood, and the result was better than we could have ever expected. This construction gives the board the ideal amount of flex needed for cruising while still remaining torsionally stiff to reduce wobbling and damage.
