Product details

The extendable marking buoy is an important safety element on board. The marking buoy can be equipped with an additional separately available lighting kit. The continuous light is activated in use by a breaker chip connected to the deck via a line.

Delivery Includes:

  • Three-part telescopic pole made of UV-resistant plastic (1.88 m to 3.15 m)
  • Two cylindrical floats made of closed-cell styrofoam (Ø 38 mm)
  • Stainless steel ballast weight
  • Fluorescent flag (450 mm x 350 mm)
  • 8 m long floating line for connection to additional rescue equipment.

Note: Marking buoys are required on all sailing yachts participating in long-distance regattas in case of a man-overboard maneuver according to ISAF/IOR regulations.
