The Irvis crampons are suitable for shoes with rear and front sole edges. Alternatively, you can also opt for a binding system that is suitable for shoes without a sole edge, such as snowboard boots. In principle, however, they are compatible with all Petzl binding systems so that you can adapt your crampons to the shoes you have available or that you need for your tour.
