The X-Alp Mesa from Pearl Izumi is a mountain bike shoe that is suitable for fast, rugged, and long tours alike. The synthetic upper is perforated and features mesh inserts to ensure good ventilation. Additionally, the shoe dries quickly. The nylon composite sole provides a balanced ratio between pedal efficiency and walking comfort, and the grippy rubber outsole offers secure traction when navigating rough terrain with the bike on your shoulder. The shoe includes a toe cap made of thermoplastic polyurethane and can be precisely and quickly adjusted with a Velcro strap and the BOA system, so you can get going.
