The X-Alp Mesa from Pearl Izumi is a mountain bike shoe that is equally suitable for fast, rugged, and long tours. The synthetic upper is perforated and features mesh inserts to ensure good ventilation, and the shoe dries quickly. The polyamide composite sole provides a balanced ratio between pedal efficiency and walking comfort, while the grippy rubber outsole offers secure footing when traversing rough terrain with the bike on your shoulder. The shoe includes a toe cap made of thermoplastic polyurethane and can be precisely and quickly adjusted with a Velcro strap and the BOA system, so you can get going.
