The X-Alp Mesa from Pearl Izumi is a mountain bike shoe that is equally suitable for fast, rough and long tours. The synthetic upper material is perforated and has mesh inserts to ensure good ventilation and the shoe dries quickly. The composite polyamide sole provides a good balance between pedalling efficiency and comfort and the grippy rubber outsole offers a secure grip when traversing rough terrain with the bike on your shoulder. The shoe comes with thermoplastic polyurethane toe protection and can be precisely and quickly adjusted with a Velcro strap and the BOA system so you can get going.
