Length 4 - 2.5" Old School Truck Hole Pattern. About the Skull and Sword Artwork: The Rodriguez "Skull & Sword" deck was the first professional deck produced by Powell-Peralta. The graphic was designed by Ray Rodriguez in 1979 and illustrated by V.C. Johnson, with artistic direction by George Powell. It was initially released in two different shapes: a 10" x 30" "Widetail" version and a 10" x 28.5" "Snub Nose," in "Brite-Lite" Dayglo Yellow, Orange, Purple, and Green. In the following years, it was produced in various colors and featured a Powell-Peralta logo. In 1983, Ray's signature was removed and replaced with a Powell-Peralta script logo. Powell-Peralta Re-Issue Construction: Powell-Peralta Re-Issue decks are faithful reproductions of the decks from the 1980s, featuring the original pro graphic and shape, the top graphic logo, and the concave. They are manufactured in our skateboard factory in Santa Barbara, which is still run by some of the craftsmen who originally made them.
