Reliable safety at the anchor point is provided by the SBEA Lanyard 9.8 mm from Ocun. This short self-belay sling is made from a single piece of climbing rope that is sewn into a loop at both ends. If a carabiner is to be permanently attached to the sling, the fixing rubber prevents annoying twisting. Additionally, the SBEA Lanyard 9.8 mm can be used as a lanyard for via ferrata climbers (Note: Not to be used as a replacement for a via ferrata set!).
