When we designed the Sierra-W, we aimed to create the lightest snowboard boot we've ever made without sacrificing the signature Ride feel of the modern Nidecker boot line. The lighter your boot, the longer and stronger you can ride. We are excited to announce that the Sierra-W is 27% lighter than its predecessor. Reducing weight starts with the outsole. The Sierra-W features our Gravity sole, made from lightweight, durable EVA. We shaped the crampons in the same way as the rest of our soles, drawing inspiration from our playgrounds in the mountains and then adapting them to provide you with maximum grip. The upper part of the boot closes quickly and precisely with a single Boa H4 dial on the tongue. We used Boa's TX3 textile laces to further reduce weight, increase durability, and provide a more natural feel when tightening. Inside, our thermoformable Bronze Level Liner with Single Density Footbed keeps you warm. 1:1 durability means we used a unique shell, liner, and insole for each size and half size. How comfortable is it? Very comfortable. Like the rest of our range, the Sierra-W features an asymmetrical last on the outside, meaning the boot fits perfectly against the highbacks of our bindings and ensures optimal power transfer. This applies to both landings and groomed runs or powder areas of the ski resort. The Sierra-W offers excellent value for money, allowing you to experience the technology and feel of a Nidecker boot without having to spend a fortune.
