Navtex PC - News and Weather Receiver for PCs

The Navtex for PC from Nasa Marine is a system for the international dissemination of maritime safety information, falling under the GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System). Reception occurs via radio on the dual-frequency Navtex at 490 kHz (in the language of the country you are navigating near) and 518 kHz (in English only).

This device is equipped with a zone selection system that allows you to choose a zone to receive safety messages only for that area, preventing you from being inundated with safety messages that do not pertain to your navigation area. Additionally, a green LED indicates the reception of messages.

The Navtex receives all messages even when the computer is turned off. Furthermore, the device stores the messages, which can be easily accessed using the included software.

The device comes with software, a dual-frequency antenna, and a cable.
