With the Core Protect Rope, the name says it all: To better protect the rope from sharp rock and metal edges, there is an extra aramid sheath between the polyamide outer sheath and the core. In the event of a fall, this aramid sheath unfolds thanks to its extended construction, while the rope behaves just as dynamically as any other Mammut rope.
