Product details

The arguably most iconic skateboard graphic of all time, "The Ripper," was illustrated in 1983 by the legendary Powell-Peralta artist V.C. Johnson. Originally, the graphic was used as a "Bones Sold Here" dealer window sticker. It was later featured on T-shirts and eventually on decks. The Ripper graphic has stood the test of time and has been a staple of the Powell-Peralta line for over 30 years. Artwork by VCJ 1988. Features: - long 4 - 2.5" Old School Truck Hole Pattern - Original shape, concavity, and truck hole pattern. Powell-Peralta Re-Issue decks are faithful reproductions of their 1980s counterparts, featuring the original graphic on the top and bottom, shape, and concavity. Made with our partner in Mexico. The material consists of American hard rock maple and a glue that meets our specifications and is guaranteed against delamination for the entire lifespan. The shape and graphic were developed in Santa Barbara, California.
