Lewmar Winches

Lewmar has implemented advanced design features and innovative technology in its current winch series. The robust mechanics are highly durable and long-lasting, made from high-quality aluminum (Model A) or chrome-plated (Model C). For example, the central shafts are made from a single piece. With the new Wavespring technology of the self-tailing winches, the clamping ring automatically adjusts to the thickness of the sheet. This allows for the easy use of modern low-diameter ropes. The novel, smooth sheet guide enables flawless maneuvers. The Lewmar winches can be opened without tools and are very easy to maintain. "ST" models are self-tailing models, meaning they come with the self-tailer mounted on the winch. Models without "ST" in the designation are not self-tailing and are delivered as winches without a self-tailer.
