The leather version of the TX Guide, inspired by climbing technology and aesthetics, is the approach shoe for mountain guides and anyone engaged in mountain activities who is looking for a high-performance shoe for approach and climbing. It features a combination of suede leather for better fit and nubuck leather for durability. The look and feel are derived from the climbing world: an overlap tongue for maximum foot coverage and abrasion-resistant lacing at the toe with split-leather eyelets to protect the laces. Adaptable fit: a wrapping shape that can adjust to different volumes thanks to the use of leather. Asymmetric lacing in climbing style extending to the toe for a highly precise fit. Mythos Style Lacing System to stabilize the protective collar area. The protective collar, inspired by climbing elements, is made from PU-TECH Lite, and there is an external, lightweight, reinforced heel insert for maximum protection and durability. The front of the midsole is equipped with a TPU layer created using a two-component injection molding technique, which serves as a stabilizer for the climbing zone, as a medial shank, and as a rock guard layer on the forefoot. The wide heel supports braking when going downhill and provides more grip when going uphill. The sole features a dual Vibram-MegaGrip and IdroGrip compound, offering the perfect combination of traction and durability.
