La Sportiva TX Guide Leather

TX Guide is the most technical shoe in the TX Series La Sportiva line. It features a perfect combination of split leather, suede leather for better fit, and nubuck leather for abrasion resistance, making it ideal for technical approaches and mountaineering.

Designed for mountain guides and outdoor enthusiasts, this shoe offers durability and a climbing-oriented look and feel. Versatile, lightweight, and protective, it is perfect for walk-run and climb ascents, incorporating technical solutions inspired by climbing shoes: asymmetric and forward-set lacing, friction-resistant eyelets at the toe, and an overlap tongue for maximum foot envelopment.

The adaptable fit enveloping shape allows for optimal performance and, thanks to the elastic leather, provides excellent adaptation to all foot shapes. The very stable toe ensures optimal grip on edges during climbing. The climbing-inspired protective rim is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material.

The sole and midsole combination features dual-density compressed EVA for cushioning at the heel and stabilization in the midfoot. The front side of the midsole is equipped with a TPU layer, created with two-component injection molding technology, which serves as a stabilizer for the climbing zone, an intermediate layer, and a rock guard layer on the forefoot. The sole, made with dual Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip compounds, offers the perfect balance of grip and durability.
