The leather version of the TX Guide, inspired by climbing technology and aesthetics, is the approach shoe for mountain guides and anyone engaged in mountain activities looking for a high-performance shoe for approaches and climbing. It features a combination of suede leather for better fit and nubuck leather for abrasion resistance. The look and feel are derived from the climbing world: an overlap tongue for maximum foot wrapping and abrasion-resistant lacing at the toe with "split leather" eyelets to protect the laces. Adaptable Fit: a wrapping shape that can adjust to different volumes thanks to the use of leather. Asymmetrical "climbing style" lacing extends to the toe for a highly precise fit. The Mythos Style Lacing System stabilizes the protective collar area. The "climbing-inspired" protective collar is made of PU-TECH Lite(TM) and features an external, lightweight, and reinforced heel cap for maximum protection and durability. The front of the midsole is equipped with a TPU layer created using two-component injection molding technology, which serves as a stabilizer for the climbing zone, a medial shaft, and a rock guard layer at the forefoot. The wide heel supports braking during downhill and provides more grip during uphill. The sole features a dual Vibram(R)-MegaGrip and IdroGrip compound, offering the perfect combination of grip and durability.
