The Inspire M1 is not a traditional home gym. The M1 is completely based on cable exercises that provide complete freedom of movement, better known as functional training. This compact home gym will fit into almost any space where most home gyms won't. There are six independent pulleys (1:2 ratio) that allow for isometric training, meaning both sides of the body must work equally to complete a particular movement. This contributes to the balanced development of all muscles, as well as improving mobility and coordination.

The low rollers are designed for shoulder presses, bicep curls, and lateral raises. In combination with the bench, you can train the quadriceps and leg flexors by standing on the bench. Chest presses can be performed from lower positions by placing the bench flat, and the center pulleys are for chest exercises (flat, incline, and decline positions). Chest flyes can be performed from any angle to replace a fixed press arm. Adjust the back of the bench for support during seated rows.

The high pulleys are suitable for lat pulldowns, abdominal crunches, tricep presses, and bicep and tricep exercises, along with crossover handles for training the shoulders (posterior deltoids).
