This light bulb is generally suitable for all lamps and lanterns with the BAY 15d socket, regardless of the manufacturer. However, the appropriate wattage and voltage must be taken into account, as this bulb is available in four different variants: 12V-10W, 12V-25W, 24V-10W, and 24V-25W. Here, 10 watts correspond to 12 candela, and 25 watts correspond to 30 candela. Depending on the intended use, different versions are required. For example, the 10-watt variants are suitable for the following navigation lanterns in the Hella Marine series 2984: stern light, anchor light, and tri-color light with anchor light (anchor light area). However, they are not suitable for: starboard light, port light, top light, red signal light, green signal light, two-color light, and tri-color light.
