Product details
Models made from yak leather are particularly robust and comfortable. Thanks to the individual scar structure, each shoe is a unique piece - including the Travi Low SF Extra. Hanwag exclusively uses yak leather from ecological herding in Mongolia. The raw material is refined by the leather factory Josef Heinen in Germany. The complete leather meets the Gold Standard of the Leather Working Group, a multi-stakeholder initiative that sets the standards for sustainable, responsible, and transparent leather production. The use of this exclusive material makes the Travi Low SF Extra not only exceptionally shape-retaining but also particularly comfortable. The moisture-permeable and natural leather creates a good climate that allows the foot to breathe even during intense activities. Additionally, the leather lining adapts better to the foot's contour, optimizing the fit of the shoe. The model features the Straightfit Extra last and an adapted sole unit, providing the perfect fit for a wide forefoot and the desire for space for the big toe. The grippy Hanwag Endurance Hike outsole, made with 10% recycled rubber, ensures the necessary grip.
