The Akron Mid GTX from Garmont is a versatile hiking shoe with a mid-high shaft that provides reliable support and comfort during demanding day hikes, light mountain treks, and via ferrata routes. The upper is made from durable suede leather, complemented by protective RPU reinforcements. Inside, the PFC-free GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane offers breathable moisture protection – ideal for dynamic tours in changeable weather. The Ortholite® Ultra™ insole provides long-lasting cushioning comfort, while a semi-rigid polypropylene insert in the sole construction adds necessary stability. The EVA midsole enhances shock absorption.
