The PES Cord 5 mm from Edelrid is characterized by high abrasion resistance and low elongation. It's no surprise that this practical cord can perform well from alpine routes to big walls. Notably, a special sheath construction allows for optimized knotting. Note: The lifespan of Edelrid cords is a maximum of 14 years from the date of manufacture (10 years of usage + 4 years of storage). Depending on the frequency of use or damage, the usable life may be reduced.
