Edelrid Jay IV

As a climbing harness for vertical sports, the Jay IV seat harness from EDELRID leaves nothing to be desired. Its adjustable leg loops and movable hip padding allow for easy adjustment and perfect centering. This guarantees a good fit and great mobility. In addition to sport climbing, alpine tours and via ferrata are activities where the Jay IV excels. For easier donning when wearing crampons or skis, all buckles can be fully opened. Four symmetrical gear loops and two attachment points for ice screw clips complete this versatile seat harness. To ensure a longer lifespan for the Jay IV, a textile protector made of a Dyneema-polyester blend is located at the tie-in point, which reduces the friction between the rope and harness material that occurs during falls, thus protecting against abrasion. Additionally, the webbing material used by EDELRID features an integrated wear indicator: when abrasion increases, inner red polyester fibers become visible, signaling to the user that the product needs to be replaced.
