Edelrid Jay IV

As a climbing harness for vertical sports, the Jay IV seat harness from EDELRID leaves nothing to be desired. Its adjustable leg loops and movable hip padding allow for easy adjustment and perfect centering. This guarantees a good fit and great mobility. In addition to sport climbing, the Jay IV is also well-suited for alpine tours and via ferrata climbing. All buckles can be fully opened for easier donning when wearing crampons or skis. Four symmetrical gear loops and two attachment options for ice screw clips complete this versatile seat harness. To ensure a longer lifespan for the Jay IV, a textile protector made from a Dyneema-polyester blend is located at the tie-in point, which reduces the friction between the rope and harness material that occurs during falls, thus protecting against abrasion. The webbing material used by EDELRID also features an integrated wear indicator: with increased abrasion, inner red polyester fibers become visible, signaling to the user that the product needs to be replaced.
