Edelrid Jay IV

As a climbing harness for vertical sports, the Jay IV seat harness from Edelrid leaves nothing to be desired. Its adjustable leg loops and movable hip padding allow for easy adjustment and perfect centering. This guarantees a good fit and great mobility. In addition to sport climbing, the Jay IV is also well-suited for alpine tours and via ferrata. For easier donning when wearing crampons or skis, all buckles can be fully opened. Four symmetrical gear loops and two attachment options for ice screw clips complete this versatile seat harness. A textile protector made from a Dyneema-polyester blend at the tie-in point ensures a longer lifespan for the Jay IV by reducing the friction between the rope and harness material that occurs during falls, thus protecting against abrasion. The webbing material used by Edelrid also features an integrated wear indicator: with increased abrasion, internal red polyester fibers become visible, signaling to the user that the product needs to be replaced.
