Dirt and water-repellent climbing rope for alpine climbing. The Apus Eco Dry 7.9 from Edelrid combines high safety reserves and excellent handling characteristics with low weight. It is the perfect rope for alpine adventures and has a dual certification as a half rope and twin rope.
PFC- and PFAS-free Eco Dry impregnation. The rope is equipped with a PFC- and PFAS-free impregnation that makes it water- and dirt-repellent. Additionally, it is bluesign certified. Thanks to the impregnation, the rope dries quickly, has minimal weight gain when wet, and is less likely to freeze in cold ambient temperatures. With a water absorption of less than 2% according to the UIAA Water Repellent Test, the rope maintains its performance even in wet conditions, providing high safety reserves.
Ready to use without tangling thanks to 3D Lapcoiling. Combined with the thoughtful packaging design, it is incredibly easy to start climbing with the new rope right away. It can be pulled out effortlessly. The marking on the rope and the detailed description on the packaging further facilitate the extraction, allowing the rope to be used immediately without annoying twisting and tangling.
