The children's bike, which set a new standard with its unbeatable weight and high-quality bike components, now has a trail version. The Early Rider Belter 16 Trail is here! Despite the exclusive 16" tires, it has become even lighter thanks to various Ritchey components. Now, kids can also tackle trails and rough terrain with the Early Rider Belter 16 Trail, ensuring plenty of fun.

Early Rider Belter - designed and manufactured exclusively for the needs of children. The average weight of a five-year-old is about 17 kg. If they ride a steel bike weighing 12 kg, it’s like an 80 kg adult having to ride a bike that weighs 55 kg.

The trail version has been updated and differs in the following ways:

  • A new, voluminous Vee Crown Gem 16 x 2.25" tire has been mounted, providing even more grip and comfort.
  • To ensure the wider tire functions optimally within the frame, additional adjustments have been made to the frame, belt drive length, and brake.

Assembly state of children's bike

The following steps needs to be carried out before use: Mount saddle, front wheel, pedals, breaks (incl. brake disc if included), mudguard (if included), baggage carrier (if included), lights (if included). No fine tuning was carried out for the gear system, brakes, wheels, suspension, saddle/handlebar inclination or headset. The bicycle wheels and suspension (if included) need to be checked for air pressure and pumped if required. Furthermore, the headset must be checked for play and adjusted if required. Required tools (not included in delivery): Side-cutting pliers, 15mm fork wrench, allen key set.
