Notably, the functionality of the two differently sized loops enables versatile use with various rope diameters. For ropes with a diameter of 7.3 to 9.2 mm, typically half and twin ropes, the smaller loop is used to increase braking power. The larger loop is employed for rappelling on double strands or with single ropes that have a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm.
