Decathlon CP500

We designed this model for young beginners aged 8 to 12 who want a technical skateboard deck in an appropriate size. The board is made from 100% Canadian maple for excellent quality and lasting pop. The nose and tail are wide and moderately raised, featuring a medium concave, ideal for street and curves. It comes with high-quality wheels with a diameter of 50 mm.

The trucks are made of aluminum, and the axles are made of steel. The truck bushings are made from 90A polyurethane "Super High Rebound (SHR)." The bushing dimensions are barrel 24 × 14 mm and cone 24 × 11 mm. The wheels are large enough for good rolling behavior but light enough to ensure excellent handling. The wheel material consists of 100% Super High Rebound polyurethane, our best urethane material, with a hardness of 100A. This provides good responsiveness and is not too grippy for executing tricks like slides.

The ball bearings are rated ABEC 5, model 608ZZ. The deck is made of six layers of Canadian maple with an FSC certification. We opted for six layers of wood instead of seven without compromising the board's stability. This makes the deck lighter, more agile, and perfectly suited to the body structure of 8 to 12-year-old children. The adhesive is from the brand Henkel.

All our boards undergo extensive laboratory tests to verify compliance with European standards for skateboards as well as their wear behavior. These lab tests are complemented by field tests, which take into account measurements and assessments from testers who put each product to the test. The result: a proven product.
