Compass Tree tarpaulin

Mainsail well protected with a tree tarpaulin! If the mainsail is well protected under a boom tarpaulin when not in use, it will remain serviceable for longer. UV rays are the biggest enemy for sails. They break down the molecular structure of the plastic chains within the individual fibres. This causes them to lose elasticity, making the sail brittle and fragile. Once the fibres have been attacked, they cannot be regenerated. Even a small load can quickly lead to a tear. The profile of the set sail quickly becomes bulbous due to the decreasing elasticity, which results in poorer performance in the wind. Furthermore, oily soot, dirt and dust are easily deposited on unprotected sails and soon make the white cloth unsightly. The protective tree tarpaulin made of polyacrylic material is breathable, so that waterlogging and mildew stains are prevented. The material is also extremely weather-resistant. The durable zip on the mast side and buckles on the underside of the tree mean that the tarpaulin can be put up quickly and easily. Available in traditional blue or white, the cover is available for different boom lengths.
