It represents one of the most popular and attractive landscapes of the Beskids, with the Gorce National Park at its core. The map area covers the entire Gorce region, from the Sieniawska Pass and Raba Wyżna in the west to the Dunajec Valley and Krościenko nad Dunajcem in the east. To the south, the map is bordered by Nowy Targ and Lake Czorsztyńskie, and to the north by Mszana Dolna. The higher parts of this region are dominated by a natural landscape with extensive forest areas, interspersed with mountain clearings. The clearings of Gorce offer wide views of Podhale, the Tatra Mountains, Babia Góra, the Makowski Beskids, Wyspowy, Sądecki, Pieniny, and Spiš. Characteristic of the Gorce landscape is the traditional architecture of shepherd huts. Gorce is an attractive area for active tourism – hiking, cycling, skiing, and horseback riding. The map creates a relief effect through shading. Areas marked "Overnight in the Forest" are also indicated. The back contains general information about the area, a guide, color photos, and plans of the town centers of Rabka-Zdrój, Mszana Dolna, and Nowy Targ. The map has been used by guides from the Krakow Student Association of Mountain Guides, staff from the Gorce National Park, PTTK in Rabka-Zdrój and Krakow, as well as the Podhale group of the Volunteer Mountain Rescue (GOPR).
