The Planar 2D 44D / Autoterm Air 12V is also suitable for marine use. Preheating the interior of a boat before the journey begins? This is possible with the Planar diesel heater, which has been known as Autoterm Air since September 2019. The heater is designed for installation in various types of vehicles, making it an interesting option for marine applications as well. In a truck or boat, the diesel air heater provides comparable comfort to that of a passenger car. This is partly due to its ability to heat up to 75 cubic meters of air in an hour while consuming relatively little energy. Retrofitting is not particularly difficult, as the Planar heater has the same mounting pattern as many heaters from Webasto or Eberspächer, greatly simplifying the installation process.
