The Powell Peralta Flight construction is characterized by a reduced material thickness and increased durability. Compared to traditional seven-ply maple wood constructions, these boards have more than double the break strength in the tail area. The structure consists of a combination of epoxy resin and fiber reinforcement, which enhances resistance to breaks and maintains elasticity (pop) consistently over a longer period. The rebound behavior improves jump height. The durability far exceeds that of standard skateboard constructions. Due to the production process, slight lines or irregularities in the finish may be visible. The graphic finish is sensitive to scratches, especially when unpacking before use.
