Castelli Ultra Rain Cape

Absolutely waterproof, extremely packable rain cape. Waterproof, packable jacket made from two-layer Polartec® Weather Protection stretch fabric. It is designed to be worn in combination with our jackets featuring Ristretto technology but can also be worn directly over a jersey without flapping in the wind, and it can be stored in its own pocket.

Depending on the season and location, being well-prepared for a sudden change in weather is a great advantage. The Ultra Rain Cape, designed as part of our Ristretto technology, provides you with that assurance. Unlike most other rain jackets, the close-fitting, two-layer Weather Protection Polartec® stretch fabric keeps the rain out while taking up less space than a pocket when stored. The snug material is also so stretchy that you can wear it directly over a jersey without it flapping in the wind, or, when temperatures drop, over your Espresso Air Jacket or Perfetto Air Jacket, allowing you to ride comfortably throughout the year. We have added reflectors on the sleeves and waist for increased visibility in poor weather conditions. To ensure you always have it on hand, the jacket can easily be packed into its own pocket.
