Castelli Ultra Rain Cape

Absolutely waterproof, extremely packable rain cape.

Waterproof, packable jacket made from two-layer Polartec® Weather Protection stretch fabric. It is designed to be worn in combination with our jackets featuring Ristretto technology, but can also be worn directly over a jersey without flapping in the wind, and can be stored in its own pocket.

Depending on the season and location, being well-prepared for a sudden change in weather is a good thing. The Ultra Rain Cape, designed as part of our Ristretto technology, provides you with that assurance. Unlike most other rain jackets, the snug-fitting, two-layer Weather Protection Polartec® stretch fabric keeps the rain out while taking up less space than a pocket when packed away. The close-fitting material is also stretchy enough to be worn directly over a jersey without flapping in the wind, or, when temperatures drop, over your Espresso Air Jacket or Perfetto Air Jacket, allowing you to ride comfortably throughout the year. Reflectors have been added to the sleeves and waist for increased visibility in poor weather. To ensure you always have it on hand, the jacket can easily be packed into its own pocket.
