This is the Castelli jacket for commuting, made to deliver maximum function on the bike and look good when you get to work. We wanted a jacket that provided maximum visibility during the night commute but didn't look ridiculous with excessive reflective tape and stripes when you arrive at the office. That's why we incorporated an almost invisible reflective print all over the surface of the jacket. You don't really see it when you're riding or wearing the jacket off the bike during the day, but at night, the jacket reflects a distinctive pattern to draw attention.

We didn't stop at reflectivity. The 20,000 mm water column ensures no water gets through, and the 20,000 MVTR breathability allows moisture to escape. The ventilation details make this jacket stand out: there's a cuff at the waist that you can close to seal out the wind or leave open to let in some air from below to keep you cooler. This inner cuff allows for a jacket that falls straight at the bottom, creating a much cleaner and more sophisticated look than a jacket with pleats from an inner elastic band.
