This is the Castelli commuter jacket – made to provide maximum functionality on the bike while looking good when you arrive at work. You wanted a jacket that offers maximum visibility during nighttime rides but doesn’t look ridiculous with all the silver reflective bands and stripes when you get to the office. That’s why Castelli has applied an almost invisible reflective print across the entire surface of the jacket. When you’re riding during the day or not wearing the jacket on the bike, you can hardly see it, but at night, the jacket reflects a distinctive pattern to draw attention.

The reflective effect is just the beginning. With a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm, no water gets through. And the breathability of 20,000 MVTR means a good amount of moisture can escape. But it’s the ventilation details that set this jacket apart: at the waist, there’s a cuff that can be closed to shield against the wind or left open to let some air in from below, keeping you cooler. This inner cuff allows for a jacket that falls straight at the bottom – a much cleaner and more refined look than a jacket with gathers from an inner elastic band.
