Resin Series - Ryan Martz

As Ryan Martz grew up, he was surrounded by the best glass artists on the coast. It's no surprise that he is now one of the most sought-after resin artists in the world. Ryan's father, Greg Martz, founded the Waterman's Guild in 1983 to create the best glass workshop in Southern California, where Ryan learned his craft: "Growing up under my father, he was a perfectionist who made sure that quality always came first, and that has been the case from day one." He worked his way up and developed his own style. Each of his resin art pieces is a unique creation painted with flowing pigments reminiscent of the movement of water or fire, frozen in time.

For his third resin series for Carver, Ryan has created these custom designs in an old-school style using pigmented resin on fiberglass for an authentic surf/skate graphic.

30.25" Firefly: A slightly shorter version of our classic Resin. This agile model is a bit quicker and easier to pump, making it suitable for smaller riders looking for their ideal surfskate. A proven favorite that has just the right length for you to pump with ease while confidently tackling any hill - the standard by which all others are measured.
