Product details

If you observe what the wizards of traditional climbing routes have with them, you will surely notice a good selection of tricams. These extraordinary camming devices can be used both as active protection and as passive protection, often functioning where the placement of another device is not possible. They are ideal for horizontal rock cracks, in holes, in deep vertical cracks, and, unlike friends, also in icy cracks. Additionally, due to their high resistance and lightweight design, they can be used as anchors in a resting position. The larger sizes allow for an increase in the friend range at moderate costs. Designers have found a system through careful assessments and numerous trials to naturally stiffen the tricam sling, which facilitates the positioning of the devices (especially with one hand) without compromising their function as active protection. How? Simply by extending the triple layer of the sling and attaching it to the tricam head with a new stitching pattern. This way, the sling near the head is not only stiffer but also more resistant to sharp edges.
