Product details

The Corsa is an ultra-lightweight and ideal ice axe for winter and glacier tours as well as ski mountaineering. The aluminum shaft meets the requirements of EN 13089 Type 1 and can be used as an anchor point in the snow or as a brake in the event of a fall. A nylon insert prevents snow from entering and getting stuck in the shaft, which has a special texture for good grip. The integrated opening between the blade and shaft allows for the attachment of a Corsa Leash (sold separately).

Not recommended for ice climbing, steep mixed terrain climbing, or intensive step cutting.
