Product details

The right protections for the most repulsive rock cracks. The Ball Nuts were invented by John Middendorf in 1987 and were called Lowe Balls in the beginning. They are the real secret weapon of climbers of self-securing tours. In fact, they are small marvels that do not fear the narrowest rock cracks with parallel faces, where the only alternative would be to hook. Moreover, they are ideal in the "pin scars" (cracks created by the constant hooking and unhooking) and in the small concavities where even the most modern Microcam can do nothing. In short, the most experienced fans of classic climbs should always have a pair of Ball Nut (e.g. numbers 2 and 3), also because of their extreme lightness. - Details: - Circumference: 10.5 mm - 18 mm - Breaking load max. 8 kN - EN 12276 & UIAA 125 certified - Type: Friends & Clamps Climbing Accessories - Type: Friends & Clamps - Weight: 74 g
