The Crux by Boreal is a climbing and bouldering shoe that excels in overhangs thanks to its strong downturn and asymmetry. The generous rubber coverage in the toe and heel areas allows for precise toe and heel hooks. With a moderate downturn and Boreal's own sticky rubber compound, Zenith Pro 2.0, at a thickness of 4 - 4.5 mm, the shoe also offers excellent friction capabilities, making it very versatile. To stabilize your foot and optimize heel hold, the Crux features a wrap rand and a torsion band. The wide entry makes it easy to put on and take off in between climbs, and the opposing Velcro straps allow for a precise fit. Boreal manufactures the Crux without leather, using partially recycled materials and on a medium-width last.
