The Black Diamond Method is designed for sport climbing and is suitable for various types of rock, whether limestone, sandstone, or other rock types. With a focus on comfort in the forefoot area and a minimal break-in period, the Method is comfortable from the start and provides good edge control and power transfer for beginners on the rock. Featuring a downward-curved but not overly aggressive last, these shoes perform well on both overhanging and vertical routes, making them a versatile climbing shoe for those who appreciate simplicity. The high-friction rubber is molded rather than cut from a sheet – inspired by the way we forge our carabiners. This allows us to optimize its shaping for less waste, low weight, and high consistency and comfort. A stretch-resistant microfiber upper ensures comfort against the skin. The tongue is made from our comfortable, microsuede-lined webbing, which is particularly breathable and enhances mobility. The Method wraps this construction with Velcro straps, allowing you to adjust the desired tension and fit.
