Black Diamond Vapor Helmet

Black Diamond's Vapor weighs just under 180 grams (179 g, size L/58-63 cm). Available in two sizes, the helmet is wonderfully airy, doesn't pinch anywhere, and is easy to adjust, close, and open. However, none of the eight testers found the Vapor to fit really securely and inspire confidence. It's best to try it on yourself. Available in five colors and two sizes for 130 Euros.

Black Diamond's Vapor is the lightest, but also the most expensive helmet. Thanks to its low weight and effective ventilation, it is very comfortable to wear despite the thin padding. However, none of the eight testers found it really secure and confidence-inspiring, partly due to the filigree straps at the back of the head, which are attached high up in the centre (instead of at the back)...
