Black Diamond Raven ice axe

The Black Diamond Raven Ice Axe is a modernized version of the original Chouinard model with a curved blade, designed as a traditional ice axe for mountaineering. It has been used worldwide for classic climbs for decades. The newly redesigned and lighter Raven features a striking head made from cast stainless high-precision steel, providing better ergonomics and increased comfort while walking. The updated geometry of the blade and pick tip ensures better placements and efficient cutting. The newly designed spike offers improved bite and a greater ability to penetrate the ice. The durable handle made from aircraft-grade aluminum has been shaped with a more comfortable trapezoidal cross-section to ensure an optimized grip.
